Apprenticeship, at my age???

"Apprenticeship??? I sware there for olders. I am only 6-teen why do I need to become someone apprentice plus I hate having a supervisor its just like secondary school again." LOL that exactly what I thought until one of my friends told me that her was doing one in photography. Then I went to apprenticeship website and found out that Apprenticeships are an excellent way of gaining qualifications and workplace experience. As an employee, I could earn as I learned and I could gain practical skills from the workplace (cher-ching).

Or if you do not want to permently leave school you could go to the job center who have a great range of part-time jobs for you from: shop assistant to hotel receptionist

Some go the EXTRA mile

Why do students pick certain school? We’ve heard every reason imaginable! For example, i know one student who decided to pick to a college because during the campus tour he noticed that there was a KFC shop right next to his school (fatty). We can even tell you about a student that wanted to get so far away from home that she took out a compass and a map and drew a 5 mile circle around her house. Then she vowed never to apply to a school within that circle. I decided to pick my college by writing the advantages and disadvatages of the school the school with the most advantages and the less disadvantages.

Here is a guy who is studying and working see how he balances it out:

Games...Revision... two diffrent things, not know

I had bad memory when I read a whole page nothing went in. I knew I needed to revise had and work hard at collage so I played Simon. This new game has helped me to revise and gave me a good way to relax after and between revision sessions. Try it, and trust me you will like it. Also try and beat my score of 15, good luck.

CV? Where do I start?

Writing a CV is always hard especially when nobody teaches you how to write one, who to contact and he jobs available. In my secondary school (st Peters, home of the legends LOL) they told us to write on but they don’t really go thought it with you. I felt scared and worried then I found a website on line with 3 easy steps called Letter Wizard. This is what some of my friend thought about the website.

"I wrote and e-mailed my application letter in 5 minutes. This tool is very helpful!"
Annette

"I didn't know how to write a good CV. But this wizard automatically writes a perfect CV without thinking too much about it." Stanley

These days jobs are limited and I found it hard to get one but now I work as a waitress at cafe lafux but now the employers look at grades not qualities so it helps if you have a teachers evaluation of you (make sure it good). Good luck you will need it.

4 simple steps to stop you running insane

1.Exercise Regularly. Start engaging in regular physical exercise 3-5X/week for 30 minutes, like jogging, walking, swimming, biking, dancing, aerobics,

2. Discover the Meditative and Sensual Mode. When I notice a panic attack or from stress doing school work, I put everything to the side. I grab my portable radio and my Smashing Pumpkins, "Siamese Dream" tape. I plug it up in my bathroom and turn off
the lights. I light a variety of candles throughout the room and take a warm bath. If my stress is way out of hand, I eat an apple and drink a glass of milk while in the bath.
3. Find a Hobby. Hobbies can be active or reflective; sometimes they can be both, like gardening. Hobbies may be shared, but often it's enjoyable activity pursued or engaged in solitude. Hiking in forests and mountains work wonders for me.
4. Learn to Let Go. When people are depressed/stressed they often are clinging to a belief, a situation or a person that is ignoring or denying key aspects of reality. They are reluctant to have a face-to-face, heart-to-heart talk or confrontation. And loss doesn't just mean the death of a loved one. Loss can occur , having to start a new job or school (loss of familiar colleagues and friends)

READ, READ,READ (stresssssss)

Revising is the hardest thing to do especially with all the distractions. I struggled to revise with face book on, TV on and my blackberry ping off. Then I realized i had to do something when i remembered nothing so here are a few tips that helped me:
if you feel it will help you, set a revision timetable, revising certain subjects at certain times.

If you feel the need for silence while revising, try to make this possible.

If you like to work to music, get some headphones and listen to your favorite album whilst you work. Try to listen to something that is familiar and "one of your favorites" - this will help to put you in a positive frame of mind during your revision - it can also reduce the risk of distraction, under the right circumstances.

Make sure you have a break from revision - try to arrange things so that you have a "day off" revising. This will mean when you re-start your revision, you will be a little fresher.

Try to revise one section of notes, or one set of topics together.

If you have trouble with specific details of topics, at least try to understand the topic generally and try not to get too bogged down with details. If you just choose to "ignore" topics, you may be limiting your options too much when it comes to answering questions - try to gain a broad understanding, as this is often sufficient to answer most or part of a question. (Quite often, details are supplied anyway - you just have to tie them together.

The worst question ever

life is hard especially when your family have great expectations for you. i noticed that everyone asked my only one question "what did you get".  what do i say "$#*!" or "its not of your effing business" do i tell them i am still waiting for my results or that i got 10's and 2 D's. Eathier way i am doomed. Just remember there not bad results and that you’re not the only one there is someone out their that’s done worse.
